Grandads roses

The first two of these pictures are of Grandads old house in Laurelhurst. The couple who bought it have done some remodeling and expanded the attic/second floor since he lived in it. The next pictures are at the rose garden at the church Grandad attended. That's Sara in the picture with me and Dad. She and a helper have been keeping the garden up these last few years. After much pestering by the parishners she finally entered the garden in the annual Rose Festival competition this year. It won first place in two catagories. You can see the awards in the pictures that follow. The last picture is of one of the stained glass windows that was in the old church before the congregation moved here. They preserved the window and mounted it in a light box so people could see it and preserve a part of the church's heritage.
