We took a nice walk in Laurelhurst Park and saw a lot of beautiful plants and flowers that I had not seen before. There was a pond at the park with lots of ducks and I had a blast trying to chase them and honking back when they honked at me. It was on the steps out of the park that Mom saw the giant slug and just had to get a picture. When we were done at the park we went to our friend Terri's house to visit with her. She is our friend Joel's cousin and we met her here in Texas when she was down visiting her family. We have since visited with her several times while she has been down here and when she found out we were coming up she asked if we could visit. She lives in a great old house that she is currently fixing up. What is it with all these people fixing up old homes around there. Everyone we know up there seems to be doing it. Anyways, we had a great visit and Terri let me ride the giant rocking horse her father hand carved. It is the coolest rocking horse I have ever been on.
