Cannon Beach

Since Dad's family often vacationed at Cannon Beach and he had fond memories of climbing Haystack Rock he wanted to take me there and share it with me. This was my first time at an ocean and I was suitably impressed. I didn't think it would be so loud! The water is very strong too. Dad had to hold on to me to keep me from being knocked over as the waves came in. I brought my Welly's from Texas and had a great windbreaker that the Lastingers gave me to keep from getting to wet. I'm glad I had them.
